How well does it work? I hate to sit and listen to voice mail. And then try and write it all down.

i get Voicemail Messages header but it says *No Messages* even though I have voicemail sitting in the inbox...

how exactly does it work? do you need a third party app as stated in the FAQs?

on 7100g 4.1

I do believe it only works with certain companys... like Nextel. (Which is why the poster said the I version specificly)... So if your trying it on a non "I" or unlocked on another carrier; it won't work

The BlackBerry itself doesn't really have the ability to call up your voicemail, know what numbers to push when, listen to the message, and then convert it to text. - So it has to be implimented on your carrier side.

I checked page 24 - here is what it says - To view voice mail message, in the message list press ATL+7
Not sure what else you have installed. I am also on Nextel and cannot make this work.

I did notice when I do what it says the Header at the top says "Searching" from the standard "NEXTEL" and then displays "Voice Mail Messages". With 1 VM it returns " *No Messages". It is doing something, but WHAT?

Hey guys when you check your voicemail do you get an opt to convert to text? or maybe you have to save the message first. Ive seen some other customer doing it but I didnt get all of the steps on how to. try a couple of things and let me the further steps.

I am confused????? Can YOU do this or NOT? In your original post you say "How do I do it you ask well here is your answer" - This tells me you HAVE in fact done this. But your quote above is now asking us to let YOU know what the further steps are????

Please elaborate so I can stop wasting my time.

Just got off the phone with tech support over an hour with them. There no real reason why it doesn't work. The techs said there was an e-mail they got on it this morning. In the end they didn't get it to work correctly. They told me there is just no info out on it yet. Just directions on how to use it. There will be more info to come on it. They escalated my call to upper tier techs and still no answers I have a service ticket in the works with them. I will post as soon as I found out how it works.
