Hi,

I have a BB 8900 which use to be my work phone.

I now want to reset it and use it for personal use.

I have done a factory reset but the BB still forces me to have a passport and things like that, which is what my old work settings use to be.

So my question is, how do I do a full and complete factory reset to take it back to if I purchased it from a shop new?

Also, its locked to Vodafone, is there an easy way to unlock it or will the fix for the aforementioned sort that?

Massive thanks,

Jon

Your Blackberry has an "IT Policy" on it requiring the password. This policy needs to be removed.

Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ (http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Remove_IT_Policy)

Unlocking the BlackBerry so that it can be used on another carrier is completely different; you need to contact a commercial unlocker to get the code.

Click on "BlackBerry Unlock" at the top of this thread to use the unlocker associated with this forum.

Good luck.
