Encrypt communication between Exchange 2007 and BES

Just found out I have to encrypt messages between the Exchange server and BES(4.1.7).

I was wondering if simply editing the MAPI profile to "Encrypt Information : When using the network'" would work and satisfy this condition. What are the possible problems that would occur if I enable this?
