my blackberry bold wont turn on

i decided to take my blackberry bold 9000 out of my draw yesterday and start to use it agian, but when i plugged it in, it wouldnt boot. all it does it show a red light for about 10 seconds, then nopthing happons. i've had this plugged into he mains all night, tryed several battery pulls (even tryed while it was plugged in) and still nothing. it just repeats this step when a battery is put in, or a charger is connected. is there anything i can do to fix this? if so what. thanks in advance :)

How long was it in the drawer? Was the battery in all this time? Lithium based batteries don't like to be fully dischared, they tend to become inert and will no longer take a charge. Your battery may be unserviceable and need replacing.

it's been in the draw since christmas. its been on charge for another night now, and still nothing....
