Hello

Hope you can help??!!??

I've been sending private SMS messages on my work BB 9800. Nothing too bad but I'd sooner they weren't read.

However, I understand as it is a BES set-up the SMS messages are logged and can be read by admin?

If I delete a particular service book will this prevent that from happening?

Also, how are the messages logged (they may not be being read in truth)? Does admin just call them up on his screen?

I'm not too techie, but just wondering what the situation is likely to be?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

The only way you can prevent your employer from reading your messages is to not use the device for personal communications. You need to seriously consider purchasing a personal device if it is of concern.

Agree with dc. If you are that worried about, get a personal device. I never advise anyone to put personal data, email, sms, calendar data, etc. on their company provided device if they are concerned about privacy.
