Changing Locked Keypad Screen on the 7100i

This applies to the 7100i

Does anyone know how to change the picture that displays when you lock the keypad? I can change the background and have a number of pictures on the phone but want a different one for the locked screen. I have been looking online for a while but haven't seen anything also the manual is useless.

This cannot be done on a 7100G but not too sure about the 7100i.
you will need to email yourself the picture, save it to your pictures folder.
go into the pictures folder, push the track wheel and it should give you the option.
if you only get the option to set as home screen then im sorry your out of luck.

Yeah home screen is my only option. Hopefully there will be a way to do this in the future. The grey screen is pretty boring.

No way to do it on my 7100t with v4.1 either....someday, hopefully...maybe 4.2? Hopefully we don't have to wait for 5.0!

So you don't have the "STAND BY" screen option in your 71xx BB's? Tell ya the truth, since I don't lock my berry I am not sure that's the right screen.

No one has mentioned that you can add text by using the owner information in options. Maybe spice it up with a quote.
