can't receive pictures from samsung galaxy s3

i've received pictures from iphone users and others, but a friend with an s3 can't send me a pic. on my end it keeps giving that message about media content could not be included...

is it a problem on my end or theirs?

It's their issue.

they have an s3 with att... any ideas what could be the problem? when they send to iphone users... they get it... but i don't get the pic...

What format is the picture? JPG? Also are they sending via email or via text?

i didn't realize that the s3 can choose what formats to send a picture in. so i'm not sure about that. but they are sending via text. not email.

Sounds like it may be an unsupported picture format. Also, have you checked your MMS settings on the Z10?
