Hey!

Is there any software or way that I can have a listing of restaurants that I frequent on my BlackBerry? I used to do this on my old CLIE.

Basically I want to be able to see a bunch of the restaurant names, #s, etc.

I thought about adding them to the contacts via Outlook but then they would be in the same list as my personal contacts. IS there a way to separate?

with my 7100i I have them categorized. I put the restaurant name in the first name field. Then I put "restaurant" into the company field. when I type restaurant, everything having restaurant comes up. I dont know if this works with other models, but try it.

Two suggestions, berry411 is great a finding anything near you. Do a search.

Secondly, try this site on your berry www.restrow.com/avantgo/

I don't need to search for them. I know the names of them already. Basically let's say I want to make a reservation at Restaurant A. I want to go onto my Berry and see

Restaurant A
123 Fake Street
Fake City, Fake State
(123) 456 - 7890

This way I can call from the road and make a reservation without searching for it.

Create a category for resturant snd assign it to each restaurant entry in your contact list. Then to see only restaurants you can filter on that category from the address book menu.
You can even create categories for different types of restaurants.

Hope this helps.
