I would like to know where I can download the original Blackberry one tune. As a previous owner of the 857 and 957 bb models, I have been accustomed for years attributing the tune to email, i.e. Business. The chirp to me is very similar to Pavlov's dog experiment, except I salivate thinking there's business to be dealt with, translation=money. As a avid business man, some of the notifiers on the 8700c aren't as distinguishable/professional (as a matter of fact, they're cartoonish) as this original Blackberry favorite.

I do realize that Billwch posted a similar thread. (#234), but the responses sway to discussions on themes, rather than the chirp.

If someone can lead me to where I can add the original chirp (blackberry 1 tune) to my 8700c, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have original bb tunes 1-5, that would be great as well.

This must have been an oversight on RIM's part.
Thanks.

Heres a couple free ringtone sites; don't really know if they have what your looking for exactly, but they should. If they don't then you most likely have to create the tone yourself.

... But I still think an "avid business man" would be able to, and knows that he has to; adjust to change.

Thanks for the links andrebsd. There were some nice ringtones on the sites. With the 8700c, I was able to use the .mp3s, but not the .adp files.

I still have not been able to locate the desired original blackberry notifier chirp. Thanks.

Well, I understand you! I am looking for a decent mp3 email signal for days. A lot off comic stuff out there ... but not a short, decent signal ...
