View Full Version : 7100 Theme Problems Installing

Ok, I'm stumped. Yes, I have searched and read about a million messages. I have a 7100t with OS 4.02.49. I have tried most of the Themes and can get none of them to load. Application loader installs them, but when I go to settings/themes the only themes I see are the defaults. Help!

dood you need to download 4.1 handheld software... there are links everywhere to it. I used the hong kong version on my 7100t

I downloaded the HK version on my 7105t, but those themes didn't work. What's the problem?

I ma having the same problem I have loaded the Os 4.1 and have loaded the Macberry71 theme. The theme doesn't appear in the theme section, when I look in the applications area the Macberry is listed as a loaded application.

Assuming you loaded the 4.1 OS correctly (check applications in options to be sure), you have to pull the battery and do a hard reset after loading a theme before it will appear in the themes list. If you loaded the OS correctly, and have done a hard reset, then the theme should appear in the list.

The Plazmic Theme Reader also needs to be installed. Someone has posted the COD and ALX files for download and the JAD/JAR for OTA on their site. Try searching this forum for "Theme Reader" and "download".

I have plaszmic download onto my bb but don't know how to save the themes i've created as jad or alx please help.

Darn Dummy - click on file and export

Choose a name and choose jar or alx and then load accordingly.
