I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive pouch for my 8700c. I do not want a belt clip. I like the tuff-as-nuts pouch, but it is too expensive. Any other recommendations? Thanks.

...are you looking for one to carry specifically in your pocket?

Yes. Something thin and simple, hopefully with a magnet.

I had Nutshell make me a couple of leather sleeves. I have not gotten them in yet but will post some pics when I do. They were $12.00 each.

I would think that it would simply create more bulk in your pocket.

That sounds perfect. Please let us know how they turn out. I just want something to provide a little bit of protection for the device.

I'd be more worried about coins getting in the pouch and scratching the screen if it's "worn" in the pocket.

That's why you need the NavProtector (http://navprotector.com)

Couild you supply the phone number or email and name of the person you spoke with at Nutshell to have the leather sleeves made? Thanks. Great idea.

I'm still waiting on them to come in. I just ordered two more pouch styl cases from them. I think I have finally decided after spending far too much on cases that for me the Nutshell is the best out there for suiting my preferences.

I agree... love my nutshell pouch case. I may order another one with the ornamental stuff, or the alligator skin.
