Hey guys,
I am in a quandary and need some advice! I used a BB 7100T for quite a while and then moved onto a 7230 and a sidekick. And I am going crazy, the sidekick is pretty good in a fun sense, but I don't like it all that much. So I am going to convert evrything into one. I looked at the MDA but it is no where near the BB, I am hooked on them!
What do you guys suggest, I am thinking about getting the 7105T as it seems to be nice and a little updated from the first one, and I loved the first one I had. I am ready to go to the store and pick one up, I am just debating whether to wait for the 8 series. What would you guys do? I considered getting the 7290 but I need a phone that I can use functionally as a phone. I have been reading so much about both phones and my mind is so full of details about both, I need to hear someone else views on it

thanks for the help!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I chose a 7105t. I looked at the MDA and the SDA Along with waiting on the 8700. I made my choice due to the need for a phone first email second. The SDA would have been better if it had a full keyboard since it has edge but I can deal with the slower speed for the extra functionality. If email and I'm are you're main need then go 8700 if not 7105 will work great

I tested the 7290 and the 7105T with (5) users in my organization. The results were unanimous and every stated they wanted the 7105T.

I am a gadget freak, and I love the 7105T. I thought I was going to hate the keyboard - but now I absolutely love it.

I personally didnt rollout Blackberry technology to surf the web - so waiting for the 8700 was a waste for me. I use it for a phone (1st) then Email (close 2nd).

I will also say that the size of the 7105T was a HUGE selling point for my Sales Force - they love that it is really no wider than a cell phone.

I hope this helps!

Another thing is the battery life, bigger screen or faster processor = shorter battery life.

Other than the improved internals, the 7105t is basically the same as the 7100t, only bigger Green and Red call buttons, which many of our users had already complained were too small.

If you loved your 7100t, I bet money you'll love the 7105t even more....

A colleague of mine has a 7100t and the phone stinks but she has a love-hate relationship with rest of the functions on it. Based on this, I bought a 7105t and have no complaints as the phone on it is great. Seems like BB solved the problem with the updated 7105t.

Oh man I'vr owned well over 20 phones and my 7105t by far blows all them away! This is my first blackberry and Im never ever going to buy a non blackberry phone ever! The 7105t is amazing because its a phone first and emailer/browser second. You can tell that just by looking at it. Its tall like a cellphone not fat like a regular blackberry! At my work I have the 7105t and my coworker has the 7290 I think and everyone at the job wants MY blackberry not his! I give it a 10/10 A+ BEST PHONE Ive Ever Used
