I know that sounds redundant but how do you move items in the applications folder to the main screen? I know how to move or rearrange the order of my applications that's not what I'm asking for.

Thanks in advance.

PS - I like the default Cingular theme I hope changing themes isn't my only option here.

Oh well another day....

ya... im with ya. i really like the default theme (partly because all other themes have 5 icons per row and the default theme has 6).. too bad you can't move stuff around.

BB Insite-Icon has 6 icons per row and that is a major reason why I use it.

lol people I know who use the Cingular theme don't want to move things out of the applications folder they want to add more to it but can't.

can you PM me (or post here) a link to the theme you're talking about? if possible, i would really like to avoid reloading another carriers OS just to get the theme.

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but I'm curious about the same thing.

I want to stick a bunch of crap in my applications folder.

Can it be done with any theme?

Nope, you still can't move apps from/to the apps folder in any theme.

Hope this helps.

Yeah. It helps...

Helps shatter my dreams for a perfect BlackBerry experience...

You'd think they'd allow that. I mean, anyone in their company who uses a BlackBerry would at some point wish they had that option, I'd think.

Oh well.

Thanks anyway.

If you don't use the Apps, just hide them. Or move them to the bottom of the screen.

Yeah, but the alarm clock is in the apps, and so is blackberry messenger.

I know I could use a theme where these things just show on the main page, but I like folders and whatnot...

Thanks though.

I actually have very little on my home screen anymore. I just use keyboard shortcuts for everything now.
