Wondering if there is a way to select multiple numbers to send an SMS to? I'm on a 7100t using t-mobile if that would change anything.

You could send MMS to multiple contacts.
But why do you want to pay $.25 per or pay for extra days packs?

Select compose email.
Put in their PTN@<hidden>

For Nextel it is PTN@<hidden>

To send to another contact, just hit the enter key, which adds a second field named to:, or put their name in the cc

I personally have unlimated messaging on my account but friends might not and mms is more expensive than sms

I do not think it has that capability. That would be a good feature to add to the OS. However, there are after market applications you can purchase.
Check out SMS Broadcast (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=1&jid=B3B1292844B953368D87AF334991XF7X&productId=167847) It's $9.95 and has a trial period to try it first b4 you buy.

Actually, I found some info in another post...

While composing a SMS to a contact, click the wheel and select "Add Recipient". This will let you select multiple people for one SMS. I am using a 7100t & 8700c (waiting to get it unlocked) on 4.1.

Just sent an sms and there was not an option to add recipent. Could that be an option in the 4.1 os that t-mobile doesn't have yet?

It may be a feature of 4.1. I am on Tmobile using 4.1. There are many threads about getting 4.1 from a Hong Kong site (but it works for the US version).
