Hi there everybody...

Thanks for taking the time to help me out!

I've run into an issue with a Blackberry 7100r... it was recently purchased, used, from e-bay... when I received the unit and attempted to power it up and make a phone call, I received the following error message

NET_RIM_BB_PHONE_CALL_LOG_ENTRY:mODULE'NET_RIM_BB_PHONE_API'NOT FOUND

The unit will not work as a telephone...

Has anybody here experienced this, and do you have any suggestions as to how I may fix it? Is there a software download or other method that I may employ to get this darn thing working?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Cheers,

Brian

Download the latest 7100r handheld OS software from your carrier. Execute the downloaded software.

I assume you have Desktop Manager running - if not, download that from the RIM BlackBerry support web site.

Start Desktop Manager. Run Application Loader. Make sure the Check box is checked next to the Phone application.

That should get you going. Good luck.
