View Full Version : Verizon 7130e and Bell OS

I realize there is an extensive talk about the update, and from my review of the threads, it overall appearas that people either love it, or notice no difference. My question I guess is has anyone had any BAD experience or a worse function when upgrading to the Bell OS? If there is no DOWN side, then the only thing that could happen is either you have a great response, or you get no change... so there's no significant risk to performing the upgrade-- is that correct?

Also, when/if Verizon does release an upgrade, would it simply be a matter of downloading the Verizon update and installing that?

I upgraded to the Bell firmware today and I already noticed that the bberry is holding 1XEV in my office on the 17th floor in NYC where it would never hold before the upgrade.

EVDO issue still bad with the upgrade.....
