"Browser" icon flashing / Sporadically slow

Hey guys,

We just upgraded our BES 4.0 to SP4. Once it was completed, I noticed my "Browser" icon flashes where it appears then disappears, then appears again. The "Blackberry Browser" icon remains all the time, its just the "Browser" icon.

Also, I noticed that overall the performance is sporadically slow. Roll the wheel and it moves 4 seconds later - then its fine. Click on an email, it doesnt open for 4 - 5 seconds, then its fine...

FYI - I have pulled the battery to try to resolve BOTH issues, but to no avail...the same behavior continued after pulling the battery.

When you see the slowness is your traffic arrows flashing? I have seen this occur sometimes and nobody could explain it. It would go away after a day or so and be back to normal. I would even go in and turn off all the 3rd aprty stuff that is doing traffic (verichat, bbtoday, etc).

Yes sir - my bandwidth / traffic arrow would be going nuts - both up and down showing...
