Hello,
I'm a newbie - hope I've posted this in the right place.
I just got my Blackberry and have a contract with T-Mobile in the UK. I travel a fair bit - for example Austria next week, Spain the week after and since all my family is back in Canada I tend to go home for a couple of weeks here and there. Trip to Africa planned too....
I'm a bit confused. I was looking at options of local sim cards, international sims and trying to figure out how to reduce my roaming costs and I'm not even sure if these sims with give me a good price on data/GPRS.
Also, since my regular UK phone number is for business I want to make sure that my customers can still call me on this usual number.
Current costs with T-mobile (I pay £2.50 per month for their 'International Option' ) when using my phone in Europe:
Make a call 75p per min
Receive a call 20p per min
Voicemail 75p per min to retrieve it
Texts sent back to the UK 40p
Texts received free
GPRS .73p per Kb
I'd be grateful if anyone can give me some advice!
