Leather Case for 8700 in Canada

Anyone found one of these in Canada yet? I found some on various sites but it will cost more to ship it then it does to buy.

You can thank the govt for that.

In order to ship with any reasonable tracking means is one of the more expensive services... then add customs and VAT taxation it becomes a pricey proposition.

SPD will be shipping to Canada beginning in April.

What is VAT... all I have heard of is GST and PST

VAT = Value Addded Tax. In this case there is an import tax that has to be paid by the shipper and at times the purchaser can pick up the costs. Now there is one way around it if teh decalred value is under $10 (Canadian) and sent via normal post.

I've been going through the same ordeal. Would be convenient for Rogers to carry it the OEM leather holster but unfortunately that's not the case.

and if in such a rush, go to BB (http://www.shopblackberry.com/_blackberryaccessories/cgi-bin/go.cgi/webstore/category?category=Carrying%20Solutions) and get it from them. It is not available now till the 21st. But I would still wait for SPD, their prices still are much better than BB. and i bet the final cost will still be less.
