Profile exceptions for ringtones

I have installed 4.1 on my 7100t and in the profiles it lists the exceptions for using the normal profile, but when my phone rings it uses the regular ringtone instead of the exception. Is there any other setting to make these work??

You have to assign to ringtones to a contact that you prefer

I have assigned them to certain individuals but it still rings with the default ringtone.

Check your Profiles. I think you have to choose what ring to use and then check a box if you don't want that ring for a particular exception.

I checked the profile screen, it had the exceptions listed, I tried unchecking the box in front and it still did not ring with the tone selected for that person. I tried checking the box and the same thing. I don't know of anything else I can try.
