We have multiple users attached to our BES (Domino), all using 7250 devices through Verizon. Our latest user is located approx 8-10 hours from our location, so is on a different carrier, Alltel, not that this necessarily has anything to do with our situation.

When he creates an All-day Event within Lotus Notes, when the entry is pushed out to the handheld duplicate records are created. But within the notes database there is only one entry. None of our other users are experiencing this (or at least not complaining about it).

We're currently running BES 4.0 sp2 hf3, on a Domino 6.5.4 server. The Verizon handhelds are all on the same handheld OS rev (4.0.0.204), but the new Alltel device is not (4.0.2.41).

We're VERY new to the BES world (been going less than 6 months), so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try searching the BlackBerry Technical Knowledge Center (http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/customview.html?func=llworkspace).

This is a time zone (and/or daylight saving) problem. This happend also sometimes in a Domino environment without BES.
For an all day event Domino/Notes internal books a time slot from some minutes past 00:00 until 23:50 (or something). If you have then for example 1 hour differens, for incorrect time settings the 23:50 is the next day....
If you search the Domino forums about this, you will find more information.
So check time zone settings on the persons device.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.
