8700C - 2nd broken OEM holster

I've broken two as well. I'm averaging 2.5 monthes per OEM case. Fortunately, Cingular has replaced them both.

I am about to send mine in for replacement as well. Is it true that the design has been upgraded some to produce a tighter fit? I am having problems with sleep mode not being activated. Plus, one of my locking clips broke, too.

Get the OEM leather holster.

I definitely recommend the OEM leather holster. I kinda wish it didn't have the flap but it doesn't take much to get used to the magnetic closure. It also doesn't scratch the 8700's screen or plastic shell -- though it's already too late for mine. There are what looks like black streaks from where the OEM plastic holster has scratched away the silver coloring of the shell.

Me and a buddy of mine have both broken our original OEM plastic holsters. We will both have new ones tomorrow and hopefully they will last us longer. If something happens to the next one though, OEM leaster, here I come.
