I saw a post from 2004 that said image attachments in e-mails are stripped out by T-Mobile. I use T-Mobile with my 7100g (unlocked) and whenever an image is contained in an e-mail it displays as <<image>>. The image cannot be opened.

Is T-Mobile still stripping out images or is there a setting I need to change in order to allow the images to be displayed either in the body of the e-mail or as attachments?

Thanks.

I use T-Mobile for (17) 7105T devices within my organization (we run BES) and whenever I email an image to myself or any of my users - they can open it with no issues, and/or save it where the default location saves it to the Applications\Photo Album folder - but this may be specific to the 7105T.

Regardless, T-Mobile is not stripping any photos/images from our devices.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. But it makes me wonder if the problem if with the BES or with the handheld or something else.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.
