great review!!!

I didnt know about the backlight thing to keep it at FULL blast all the time.
I am in NYC also... and I do find that the battery life is great here. EDGE rocks in nyc!

BUT... i do NOT believe data works while you r on a phone call. at least it doesnt for me.

Love the review. Search around these threads and you will find a lot of users are unlocking their phones to go over to TMobile. True, TMobile has better prices, but I found that to be at a great loss of coverage. TMobile is fine if you stick to the highways and major cities, but get off and into the boonies, and TMobile disappears. I am on vacation right now in the mountains of northern Vermont and have great Cingular coverage as well as EDGE. The TMobile customers are throwing their phones into the pool and under their snowboards.
