Cingular BB Unlimited Plan

Some at the Treo site are using their Palms with the Media Net Unlimited Plan @<hidden> $19.99. I just got my BB and talked my Cingular rep into adding this service instead of the BB unlimited plan for $44.99. But no go, I get "Data conection refused".

Is this just lucky for the Treo users? Anyone with a 8700c been able to get another unlimited lower priced plan instead of the BB unlimited?

If you want to use the BlackBerry for anything besides the Phone and text messaging you must have the BlackBerry Data Plan. There are no other alternatives, options or hacks. It's not a Treo...

gotta pay to play, and its been worth ever since I switched to a BB and especially seeing as how you have an 8700 and might can hop on Edge would make the deal even sweeter

It includes unlimited e-mail, internet browsing and use of third party applications which use the Blackberry APN.

Whether or not it includes use of the WAP APN differs from rep. to rep.
