Backround noise problem

Anyone else have callers saying there is a lot of backround/road noise? This is a pretty consistant problem. If I put on my headset, the caller says it all disappears. Anyone else receiving the same complaints

Yes, most of the people I talk to say that it (environment) must be loud where I am and of course, it's not. They also hear everything around me perfectly during the call. TV, birds, when outside, radio, car noise, etc.

have you upgraded you firware? i was having same issues but then upgraded to the Baharti(probably spelled wrong) firmware and seemed to make everything clearer

after 2 months of complaining and sending my 7100g back to cingular they upgraded me to the 8700c for free. So i guess the squeeky wheel gets the grease
