SIM Card Full

I am getting a message that my sim card is full (8700C) How do I erase it? What do I need to store on the sim card anyway?

Go to Options/Settings then SMS. See if you have "Leave Messages on SIM Card" set to Yes.

From the BlackBerry, only SMS messages can be put onto the SIM.

Also, go into Contacts/Address Book then click to bring up the menu and select SIM Phone Book. If you have anything other than Voice Mail in there, you can delete it.

I got that message a few times, but I think it was some kind of bug or something. I don't leave any messages on the SIM card. Weird. A reboot (pulling the battery) got rid of the message and I never saw it again. :/

How do you get to options/setting? When I first got this phone the IT dept. at work had us hide an option, now that I am more familiar with the phone I would like to see what was hidden, maybe this was it!

if you hit alt and the trackwheel in the main menu, you can select show
