Need Help with bharti intall, can't find the answer

ok, guys i serched all over these forums and i have tried following these instructions but evidently I'm an idiot. after downloading the software i get to seattle's step number 5 and when i open the rim folder there is no apploader folder, all it syas is blackberry nothing there. i tried uninstalling and redownloading the software, still nothing. throw me a bone...

Are you sure you're going to the right place?

Should be:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

NOT

C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\Blackberry

Also, is your device's OS installed on your PC?

cant find apploader anywhere on my laptop, all i find is the blackbery file. i deleted and reinstalled it several times but cannot find the right path. wierd??

Is the original OS installed on your PC?

When you connect your device to the desktop manager and open up the Application Loader do you see the System Software or is it blank?

That could be the problem then.

Assume you're on Cingular?

Download and install the original Cingular 8700 OS to your PC from here:

I'm just guessing here but that'll probably create the missing folders/files.
