not hard to change just need a T-6 and a T-4 screwdriver. The antenna is held in place with a tiny little screw that the T-4 can get.

yea but wouldn't you have to open up the back?, cause you can visually see the T-4 screen like you can with the i860.....so i would say becareful...

This is correct, BUT the holes for screw to hold the antenna onto the frame/housing of the 7100i and i860 are on opposite sides. so they look identical but they really aren't.

I tried for a customer.

after you open up the battery door you have to unscrew those 2 screws that you see there. Then you have to pull that whole piece off (everything from the place that says blackberry to the antenna). Flip that piece over that you just took off and there is the little t-4.

ooops didn't realize that about which side the hole was on. sorry for the wrong info oyster.
you may be able to luck up and find a service center that repairs or sends off bbs and see if you can buy the whole piece that the antenna is attached to. I switch them out all the time for customers, but I have a bunch of bbs that are being sent off to get repaired, so I have access to those types of parts.
