A strange request

Hi Guys,

I have a strange request. I not sure if this is doable though.

We are using BES. The handheld is a 7730

I have a user who when they delete mail from outlook DOESN'T want it deleted from the Handheld.

Any help is much appreciated.

I didnt think that was possible due to the fact that on BES, if the email is deleted in outlook, it will be deleted off the server, and so through synchronisation, deleted off the hand held.

But, I could be wrong.

Aye...the reverse of that is very doable. Deleting on the Berry but not deleting in outlook. But the other way around isn't possible.

As a "work around", I'd have the person set up a "special" folder in outlook that they could move the messages too, and make sure that folder is included in the Berry's "Reconcile" list, as well as having "Hide Filed Messages" to off (which is default setting for most).

That would get them out of the person's inbox in outlook, but would retain them on the berry as normal.
