7100g -- Cingular Browser LOCKS UP Phone

Since trying unsucessfully to load a particular web page, the Cingular Browser on my 7100g is somehow corrupted. Any attempt to start the browser (for any page, WAP included) results in the phone locking up. The only solution is to power-cycle the phone.

I sent a new internet service book to my phone from the Blackberry website. No help.

I called Cingular and was told to re-install the software on the phone.

I'm running Desktop 3.6. Should I download 4.1 and install that? Or some other version? I'm sick of not being able to use the browser.

I resolved it by installing the 4.1 OS. Now the browser works.

(The theme is all jackedup, but that's an issue for another thread).
