Does anyone know about the T-Mobile I'm client? I downloaded it and was going to use it but I read that it 1) cost money to use? 2) the instant messages received are counted as SMS's and take away from your text message count. Can anyone confirm this?

But aside from that, anyone know the answer?

Are you talking the OZ IM client with yahoo, MSN, AOL and ICQ? If so, that uses SMS. I don't have a SMS plan on my blackberry and I believe I got charged 10 cents for each message I sent or received when I tried it out. Used it for about 10 minutes and removed it.

Correct, RJW. The client that you can "download" from T-Mo (Oz) requires you to pay per message, which is counted as SMS. Of course if you have an unlimited text messaging plan, then you're safe. It DOES NOT count towards your unlimited blackberry data plan. You will be paying 10 cents to send/receive each message.
