So I have been using this new 8700g w/ TMO the past few days... the phone crashes at least once a day. always random. sometimes it is JAVA errors (Java Error 560 or 650 or 640 or something like that) and all i can do is click "restart". other times it just freezes up... like today, at 3:50, the phone froze. i noticed it at 4:20. but the clock said 3:50 and the phone was dead.

reboots cure it for a litte while... but it always locks up again.

has anyone else seen either of my issues before (java error or freezing)?

thanks in advance!

Do you any 3rd party application install?

On my 7105t, after a bad operating system install, it always show java error.

Agreed. It sounds like it could be a bad OS installation. Not really fair if you just bought it. You can try reinstalling the OS (which would be a good excuse to install the Zen theme) or you can just take it back and ask for a replacement. The second option makes particular sense if the problem might be hardware. (The frequent crashes suggests that it could be...)
There is no excuse for crashing and Java errors on a new Blackberry. This is not normal.

a java error should not be showing up.
unless you've installed something

if you got the phone from a local vendor, i would suggest bringing it back.

if you don't want to be without it for days, and you'd have to ship it, i would clean it up, possibly a wipe, and reinstall the OS... ef install the ZEN them, phone is soo much better with it

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

FYI
Zen is already include in the 8700G operating system .284, all you need is modify the "blackberry.alx" file.to enable it.
