I have successfully used my 8700g as a modem before but then my hard drive died so I had to start all over. After loading all the basics, I tried to set up my 8700g as a modem again but it won't work. I did read all of Mark's Big FAQ forum and followed each step but I don't know what's wrong. I go to dial the modem and it gets one of two errors: 628 or 692. I've heard other people having the same problem but I haven't seen any direct answers. Does anyone know what exactly causes these errors?
