Ok I can't figure out for the life of me how to create a folder to file things which seems like it should be the easiest thing in the world. I'm on the go so I don't have my manual with me but I used the built in help feature on my BB 8700g but that wasn't very helpful!

are you an BIS or a BES? if BIS what version? if you have 1.8 you can set up folders on the BIS site - they won't reconcile o your Outlook (or other email program). With BIS 2.0 you can't file.

If your on a BES i'm pretty sure you need to set them up on your comptuer - i could be wrong about this though

Well, hasn't TMO moved to BIS 2.0 already, if so your out of luck. Folders have gone Bye-Bye. It has to be done from your BIS accnt as was said.

Hope this helps.

Ya, folders are a thing of the past unless you're BES.

Yes they have. I am no longer able to read my emails that come to my @<hidden> account on my pc. I am only able to log into my My T-Mobile account and edit/add/delete/change email addresses on my pc; add filters to control what messages come to my BB; and add/delete/change my signature.

Forward them to your gmail and separate them there.

And just how will that help separate them on the BB?

Thanks for your Help.

In No way but if he is that persistant about separating them that would be an option for him, the BB is not meant to be a permanent repository of emails to begin with.
