View Full Version : 7100i Bluetooth issues

I switched from a T-mobile 7100 to a Nextel 7100. Here's my issue, I can sync my Jabra 250 and my Jabra 500 headset to the nextel and it will see it and it says it has connected but, I get no sound from either headset. I hear the tones still from the handset. They all pair up but no sound. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is. By the way, I HAVE turned bluetooth on on the handset. HELP

I havent seen that issue with my Plantronics Voyager 510. I have seen it drop sync once in a while tho.

Have you done a hard reset? Also when you press the connect button on the headset does that activate the earpiece?

Is there a mute option activated on the bluetooth headsets, I know the Motorola bluetooth headsets have a privacy (mute) feature.

No, theres no mute. It says Ive connected to the headset but no tones. I hear them through the handset not the headset??? Thanks

Are you talking about a hard reset on the handset? If I do that will I lose all the downloads that I have installed? Thanks

Ok so this is what I found out and I hope it helps someone else. I switched from a 7100t to a 7100i and the difference is that on the 'T" version you can hear the tones as you dial. On the "i" model you can't hear the tones but once the send button is pressed it will activate the bluetooth. (Whew) Thanks for all the possible fixes.

That's how mine works. Even DC works good.
