View Full Version : Desktop Manager - cannot setup Outlook Synch

Trying to set-up the Desktop Manager for the first time to synch with Outlook 2003. When I select MS Outlook from the list for any of the selections....tasks/contacts/calendar/memo....the application just hangs...I have to kill it via the task manager. I have tried to use the add a new Outlook Profile tip but that does not work. I have also deleted the INtellisynch folder and rebulit the folder but trying to set-up the synch again...I have also deleted DM and reinstalled several times...using TMO's version 4.1.1.12....

the log reads:

Can anyone help me? I have never had this much trouble setting up Outlook synch with a BB.

Are you using an Exchange Server/BES?
If so, try starting up Outlook and connecting to your exchange server first.

I am on BIS and use DM to synch my contacts and calendar....

Could the DM initial synch set-up be "timing out" in trying to contact Outlook? I have tried everything to figure this out to no avail....

Anyone?

Have you ever found out the cause of this problem? I am facing today exactly the same issue. Any assistance would be great..tks
