I'm here in Texas and also having the same problems. I was on the phone with Tech Support and they had me do a bunch of things such as resetting the device, and it has yet to correctly recieve my e-mail.

I'm not having any problems with PIN messaging here in TX. Just sent myself a test email message.

It's down. I haven't gotten that test email back yet. SMS is working fine though.

I'm think of moving from Cingular to T-Mobile, does this always happen with the service?

no it doesn't this is only the second time i've had it happen in over a month... I really don't know what the issue is caused by but it's not recurring after you turn the wireless on and off

I just tested mine and had to turn off and then turn on my handheld also.

Another problem I had was that I was unable to sign onto Yahoo mesenger. Once I rest the phone, it worked just fine.

I am in the Long Beach area (southern Los Angeles county)

i just switched to Tmo from sprint last week. haven't experienced any problems. although i must say my phone coverage seems a little shakey.

i think i had better coverage with sprint. the data stuff on the other hand has been rock solid, even better than the phone/voice service.

Yep. Happened today for the 4th time since owing my 87g. Each time this happens it means a minimum of 30 minutes (usually longer) on a support call and an exponential growth in frustration with T-Mo.

I'm too tired to express myself any further than this: WTF?

It happened to me a day or so ago. It was only the second time since getting the 8700g last month.
