Is there a way, when im on the phone with my clients, that I can talk and surf the web at the same time(when Im using my headset of course) I know that there was a hack for mobil 5.0 from Micro$haft where you could surf and talk at the same time...anyone know of a way to do this on a 7280?

To my knowledge Blackerry devices are not capable of running voice and data traffic at the same time. If this is important to you the best way around it would be to get a phone for the voice service and just keep the data plans on the 7280.

no - you can't do both at the same time

think about it as dial-up - only voice or data at the same time; not both (like high speed)

More accurately, current wireless networks aren't capable of supporting simultaneous voice and data (with the exception of SMS).

You gotta love five emails streaming in as soon as you hang up your phone call. I do wish BB would do data and voice at the same time.

well my buddy bought his girlfriend that new audivox from Verizon that has the new windows 5.0 on it...and he was able to surf the net and talk on the phone with a reg hack...Ill try and look into this further

Hmm. I didn't realize CDMA allowed simultaneous voice and data traffic. I thought GSM/GPRS did.

not on a gsm/gprs network, it is impossible!

Now that im thinking about it..I think it was beaing on the phone and connecting to his wi-fi...I really think thats it now...sorry for this thread guys..I appreciate your imput tho
