help - reconcile email option grayed out w/yahoo mail

hi, bberry is rather new for me...i tried to do some serarch on this issue, but didn't find anything(most of the ppl having reconcile issue is using the BES)

i am trying the following:

using bberry with yahoo mail, and outlook at the same time.

in outlook, email from yahoo is delivered into a pst file, with the option "leave message on server".

i installed the blackberry desktop tool, sync up calendar, contacts etc...

what i am having issue with, is the fact the option for "reconcile messages" is grayed out, i can not check it.

as it stands now, i have two mailbox with different emails...one on outlook, one one the bberry...

i'm assuming your using BIS yes?
if so you can't sync email from the desktop manager to your Outlook
what version of BIS do you have (if you don't have 2.0 you'll have an inbox)
w/ BIS 2.0 your handheld will reconcile back to your Yahoo! account.
