View Full Version : Weird issue with 7750 and 7100i.

ok heres the deal, i have a BB 7100i, my job issues us BB 7750s through verizon. I decided to have a backup file of my 7100i at work, so i used the desktop software that is for the 7750, once connected it asked about an encryption key, i clicked yes and created the back-up, however now it seems that my 7100 is mapped like my 7750, with the work BB it has data only no minutes, and when you try to make a call its says "sorry emergency calls are allowed only" now it says that same thing on my 7100.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this, BB support with nextel was of no help, ive tried everything from turning the wireless off/on to wiping the handheld, any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like your work IT policy got put on your personal BB - you'll have to get yout IT dept. to push a blank IT down to your 7100i to correct this

thats what i was thinking cause when i get on the web through my BB my companies "IT Policy" screen comes up. alsounder general security settings under "I.T. Policy name it says "STD_NOPHONE"
