All right... I have the PPC-6700 a damn good phone but it crashes a lot for my taste... I have owned both Treo (600/650) and they also crashed a lot i have read a lot of the 700w and 700p reviews and they generally accross the board give these devices a 6.00 / 6.50 out of 10 in overrall rating.

I have talk to a lot of business people and I mean a lot and they all agree on one thing: BLACKBERRY'S dont crash, their os is fast crisp and reliable.

Knowing all this... Is buying a 7250 (EV-DO) now a good investment or should I wait and hold my $ for the BB 8700 series to come to SPRINT PCS (cdma / EV-DO version)???

Does anybody know how much that "wait" time can be(availability on SPRINT PCS / cdma ?
Will it be the same case as the 7130e that came 3 to 6 months after Verizon?

The rumors page say a 8700 for the CDMA networks will be out sometime late summer or fall.
I would ditch the PPC and go with the 7250. If you can pick one up on ebay, you can save buying a new phone through the carrier for when the 8700s are introduced.
I have a 7250 on Alltel, and I love it. they are super durable, and never crash
