Accually, yes. On the 8700G, if you save a pic, you can then go to the pictures and highlight the picture. Then click the trackwheel and select "Send to messenger contact" or "Send as MMS"

Currently, you cannot email a photo saved on your 8700c as an attachment. Only send it to a BB messenger contact, I don't think Cingular has activated MMS on BB accounts yet.

Hope this helps.

You CAN. Select the Pic and select "Send as MMS". Then you can specify an email address as a destination. I have tried it and it works. I am yet to see if I get charged for it.

well, MMS is not really as "sending email" but it allows user to send to a email address.

Depending on what kind of messaging plan you have. if you have the msg plan from tmo which cover all messaging (text, picture, video,..etc) for a flat rate, you won't be charged unless you use more than the allowance.

i guess in a general term, email = sending email using the email client, MMS is just sending MMS.

anyway.. :) they are similar but with different purposes.
