My 7100 is telling me i have 7 new messages when i don't . So basically 7 == 0.

Has anyone had this problem? I can't get rid of it.

Press >> key to go to the first unread message...you have 7 messages somewhere...

I have the same problem. My message count starts at "1". Pressing >> key returns a message indicating that I have no unread messages.

They count Unread messages in all folders, not just your inbox. Look under the Folders (Saved, etc.)

I just checked every folder, and nothing. I have no new messages.

Did you try clicking the wheel in messages and choosing "View Saved Messages"? I'm sure you have but thought I'd throw it out there.

HAAAA! that did it! thanks, i checked everything but that, i dont know why i have saved messages, especially unread ones. i've never saved a message, thats why i never checkd.

Thanks for making me look though :D

I have checked in there and all over the place and still have a misleading message count. I have 1 message in my inbox and 3 saved messages, but it says that I have 7. I can't seem to find the other 3.

it does show that all 7 are from my Web Client mail. the 4 that are there definitely are, but I can't find the others.
