So I just got my new 7130c from Cingular. I thought I read that they disabled the ability to do MP3 ringtones. Is this true?

No it's not true at all.

awesome. Time to start to find some good ringtones then.

Odd thing right now I have a error trying to go to websites.

Unable to open a PDP Context to the Following APN: wap.cingular

Sounds like your account might not be set up correctly.

I was wondering. I have my BES setup that works great. My old 7100 said GPRS now this one says EDGE.

I can browse websites fine, but trying to download theames or something I get that error.

EDGE supports higher bit rate transfers than GPRS. Your device will auto-detect the best available Cingular network in any given location, switching between EDGE (preferred) and GPRS as signal strength warrants.

I had the same issue with the "PDP context to the APN" with my 7130c couple of days ago. When they provisioned the service to my device I had two icons appear on screen: "media Net" browser and blackberry browser. I was able to browse the web fine using the blackberry browser but got the PDP error with the media net browser. This wouldn't be bad but if you click on any links in the e-mails the default browser was media net and that got frustrating.

I called cingular blackberry support (18003043044) and the guy seemed like he knew what the issue was. He put me on hold for 20 minutes and told me to try again and it worked fine this time. I asked him what he did and he said something about a missing/incorrect service book on my 7130.
