7100T Voice Mail

I don't get notification that I have voice mail messages. I call the help desk and it will work for a week but then just stop. The little icon dosen't show and the only way I know I have voice mail is if I call-in myself. Found 12 messages from this week alone I didn't know I have.

This must be a software issue, anybody else been having this problem?

Nextel Customer Service just told me that this is a known RIM problem and th at the only resolution right now is a hard reset - take battery out for 20 seconds. They are "hoping" for a software update from RIM, but in the meantime suggested the users do the hard reset whenever they notice they are not receiving voice mail notifications.

I'm not sure how they are supposed to know that they are not receiving the notifications - we found out on the first user because he received a warning message when his mailbox hit 30 messages.
