View Full Version : Doing most things with a BB w/o the laptop?

Just wondering... Can you do almost everything you need to do with your BB without your laptop? My corporate email is the most important thing to me. With my BB I now can stay in contact with everyone in the company very quickly when I travel. I travel up to 70% of the time. So no opening and starting of the laptop, etc. Yet there are some limitations.

Textual email is great. One thing that I still need to open the laptop for are attachments (MS Office doc, PDF, etc). Has anyone gotten this to work well on their BB? I know there are 3rd party softwares for the MS docs. But does it really work that well due to the small screens, etc.

Any tricks you can share for a road warrior?

I know that you can, but I don't know where to get the apps. My BB has basically replaced my laptop. Of course I still use it all the time but I never email from my iBook anymore.

I use my BB WITH my laptop for internet anywhere I go.

I do most things with my BB, email myspace BBForums sometimes. But I still do nost things on my laptop.
