Missing Attachments

First of all. I've done a search here and didn't find anything that helped me out.

I'm on Cingular and just picked up my 8700c. For some reason when I send attachments, like a MS Word document in the menu, I don't see it as an attachemnt I can open, yet my understanding was that this is a standard feature. I do see PDFs (text version only). Thoughts? Thanks!

Hi,

One possible reason - depends on your Email setup:

If you're using Desktop Redirector for your Email forwarding to your BlackBerry you won't be able to open attachments.

You'll need to switch to BlackBerry Internet Service (web site) from Cingular.

If you're already using BIS, then I'm not sure about it.

When you highlight the [1 Attachment] at the top of the email on your BB, you click the trackwheel and you don't see "Open Attachment" as an option?
