Reset 8700

I just got Blackberry from a friend. I inserted my sim and it working ok. But I changed alot of things and just want the phone to be as if out of the box. How can I reset the whole thing? Will I need to download softwear after that Or can I just insert the SIM and start from scraht.....

Settings --> Options --> Security Options --> General Settings.
Click the wheel and select Wipe Handheld.

Good as new.

That will wipe out customer data - it will not wipe out any third party applications, ringtones or themes that have been loaded.

I need to have My sim in to do that? And if so will wipe my sim card phone numbers and data???

It's for the BlackBerry only.
It does not touch the SIM card. The BB does not store anything on the SIM card unless you specifically save addresses to it.
