Someone else here mentioned setting it up so the side convenience key activates the keyboard lock. If you want to lock the keyboard much more often than you'd change the profile, than that would be a good solution, it seems.

If you have dial from home screen turned off, press K.

I have it set to lock automatically when it goes into the holster. So I don't have to do it manually.

Alt + Enter (return key) will lock the keyboard... but it doesn't unlock the keyboard. You have to use the scroll wheel or * + (answer key) to unlock.

It depends on what theme you are. Many theme's require you to just press "K", while others are ALT+ENTER. You can look at your home screen and see which letter is underlined where you have Keyboard Lock written.

Pretty strange, but on the Vodaphone - Today theme, I dont have an option to change the center convenience key, only the side. However, the center convenience key still maps to my messages, which I set while in another theme.

Weird, eh?
